Organized and designed by Eugenio La Rocca on the occasion of the two thousandth anniversary of the death of Augustus (August 19, 14 AD) , the exhibition presents at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome from October 18, 2013 to February 9, 2014 , a selection of about 200 works of absolute artistic value, illustrating the life and career of the princeps interlaced with the formation of a new culture and a new artistic language, which is still the base of Western civilization.
