Dear Collegues,
thank again for your participation to our Conference “Theatroeideis. Images of city, city of images”.
Given the high quality of the contributions received, as anticipated in the call for papers we are preparing to publish the Proceedings in the printed series of the scientific journal Thiasos, publisher Quasar of Rome (http://www.edizioniquasar.it/). The publication will have an ISBN number.
Given the high number of participants, it is possible that the publication will include two volumes. The authors will have the .pdf file of their articles and can purchase one or both volumes (printed or e-book version) at a lower price established by the publisher.

Manuscripts should be submitted in electronic form written in Word for PC (MAC files should be converted to PC format) to the e-mail address theatroeideis@thiasos.eu (with WeTransfer or other FTP public vector) not later than November 30th, 2016.
The papers will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the Conference.
When preparing your article for submission please take care to follow the “Thiasos instructions for authors”, downloadable from the Conference website (http://www.thiasos.eu/theatroideis-2016/). Please read them carefully before submission and don’t send papers in .pdf format. Papers not in accordance with the rules will be asked to be corrected.
The overall page size will be 210 by 297 mm. The text will be set in one column, with captions in a lateral external column, and the overall printed area is 170 by 257 mm. Please, give a look to the attached sample.

The manuscript should consist of:
– title;
– name of author/authors and address/institution;
– 5 keywords;
– 2 abstracts (max 1500 characters each, spaces included: the abstracts should be written in English and in the language of the article. If the article is in English, the two abstracts should be written in English and in Italian;
– main text (max 25.000 characters, spaces included, footnotes included);
– list of bibliographical abbreviations (not included in the 25.000 characters of main text);
– figure captions (not included in the 25.000 characters of main text). The figure captions should include a parenthesis with photo credit or source. Please cite the copyright for illustrations where necessary, either in the captions or in the acknowledgments section at the beginning. It is the author responsibility to ensure that all copyright permissions have been gained.

The illustrations (photographs and drawings) should not be more than 15, in black and white or greyscale, in .jpg or .tiff format, at 300/600 dpi. All illustrations need to be saved as separate files and not embedded in the text.

Proofs will be sent out for corrections twice. The second draft will be only to eliminate misprints: additions or substantial changes will not be granted.
